Here comes the winter and it can bring with it a host of problems when it comes to rats. This summer (if you can call it that) we had no let up in the amount of calls for rats, this was down to the mild winter last year.
Its only September and already I have had the heating on at home as the nights are getting cold. As the temperatures gets colder rats are looking for somewhere warmth, this could mean your home.
What you can do to help reduce the risk of getting rats this winter
· Check your home, checking every nook and cranny to block their access.
· Don’t leave out pet food in the garden.
· Keep all food stuffs in containers, well sealed
