The common clothes moth larvae are shiny, white worms about 1/2 inch long, The adults are about ½ inch long, they have narrow fringed wings and are yellowish-brown in colour.
Clothes moths have a complete metamorphosis. That means they have an egg, larvae, pupa and adult stage just like a butterfly. Adult females lay up to 200 eggs, adults live 15 – 30 days.
